These Tampa Foodies LOVE bacon and cinnamon rolls. So when we found a breakfast recipe combining them together into one dish, we thought it was brilliant and had to try making a batch. Take a smoky, salty bacon strip and cook it INSIDE a sweet cinnamon roll making a super easy, two-ingredient breakfast meal that’s perfect for weekends with the family or as a brunch dish with friends.

All you need is:

  • 1 package of Bacon – Smoked Hickory flavored is best (12 oz)
  • 1 can of Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls (17.5 oz)
  • Cooking dish or pan
  • Non-stick spray
  • BaconWave Microwave Bacon Cooker (optional)

Only two ingredients needed – a package of bacon and can of refrigerated Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls.

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.

Cook bacon – should be at least 10 strips. We prefer cooking in the microwave using BaconWave.

Cook bacon so its still soft enough to bend & roll. Pat dry.

Open cinnamon roll package and separate by rolls. Most jumbo tubes should have five rolls.

Working one roll at a time, gently unroll completely.

Each is long enough for two strips of bacon placed end-to-end.

Gently re-roll each cinnamon roll. (TIP – for a real visual impact, make sure the bacon slightly hangs over the top edge)
